In mid-August 2001 I got to spend a couple of days in a blimp flying around and taking pretty video of NYC and the surrounding area.... The day was fairly calm, but the wind that got funnelled between the twin towers was strong enough to lift the blimp a few hundred feet every time we passed by ....
