  Strip off x/x" of insulation from the end of the wire
Make sure all the wire strands are still lined up neatly
Insert the stripped wire in the solder cup
Heat the pin and wire and add solder until your cup runneth over

  Cover the pins with "Flex-Shrink"
If the insulation is thicker than 1/8" and won't fit the "Flex-Shrink", flare the end a little bit witha pair of pliers or a similar tool.
