Flat carbon rods can be used for spars, spar or wing reinforcement, to protect the leading edges on foamies, as small landing gear or wing
stuts on park flyers, etc, etc. The thinner ones will drape along curved surfaces, but not along compound surfaces. The thicker ones can be drilled, but doing
so substantiall weakens them, so they should ideall be attached by glueing or clamping instead of directly screwing them down.
