One of the things the compass cutter is good for is to make
lightweight wheels from
Zepron, foam plates
or any other suitable materials. You'll probably need a few minutes practice before you figure out the technique but I found that it's very easy to do. I found that it's best to make a 2 light passes because the heavier pressure of a single cut starts to distort the center hole. For a hub you can use either #2 "Totally Tubular" inserts, "Carbon" Fittings or any other suitable material. | |
